Global Inclusion Dialogue Morelos, Mexico
November 11–15, 2026
Local host: Adriana Medina-López-Portillo
GID host: Henning Zorn
The 2026 Global Inclusion Dialogue will take place in the state of Morelos, Mexico, at Tapalehui, a retreat center located in the Nahuatl Indigenous town of Xoxocotla, approximately 20 minutes from Cuernavaca.
While one of the earlier Dialogues has previously gathered in Oaxaca, this will be our first meeting in Morelos. As always, the local context becomes part of the inquiry — shaping conversations through its history, culture, geography, and social realities.
This year, there will not be a predefine central theme.
The topics will be co-created on site through Open Space and Dialogue processes, emerging from the questions and concerns participants bring with them.

A Note from the Host Adriana Medina-López-Portillo:
Tapalehui is a place with which I have a long-standing relationship. It is operated by a close friend, and over the years my mother and I collaborated with the center to introduce more health-conscious meal options for retreat groups.
My mother passed away in a home located above the property. Hosting the Dialogue here therefore carries personal resonance, alongside professional commitment.
It feels appropriate to gather in a place shaped by continuity, care, and long-term relationships — values that align with the spirit of GID.
